📣 Opening announcement! 📣

We’ll be opening our doors to the public once again at 9am on Wednesday 13th May and we’re certainly looking forward to seeing you!

Health & Safety for our staff and customers will be our top priority so you’ll notice plenty of changes:

  • Customer numbers will be severely limited
  • Queueing system in car park
  • 2 metre markers on floors in key areas to ensure social distancing
  • Screens at till points
  • Staff will all be wearing gloves and masks if required
  • Coffee Shop and toilets remain closed until further notice
  • We won’t be manning our phones, we’ll all be on the shop front
  • Our Click & Collect service is now suspended

We respectfully ask you to:

  • Complete your shopping as promptly as possible to allow others to shop
  • Perhaps make a list before you leave home to help speed up your shop!
  • Only touch items you wish to purchase
  • Always remember to maintain social distance from staff and other customers
  • Pay by card where possible

Opening Hours: 9am to 5.30pm

Reopening means we’re temporarily suspending our home delivery service whilst we get up and running again - watch this space for updates.

With best wishes

The Okells Team

A sanctuary of horticulture, goods for the home & popular cafe, designed to bring people together

Opened in 1981, Okells began growing heather plants and selling to garden centres up and down the country. Over time, we have slowly expanded our offer to an ever changing array of plants, trees, seeds and tools for the aspiring gardener to accomplished grower.

Alongside our garden shop lies our home store, stocking a range of wares sourced locally and internationally. Our cafe has a hearty range of wholesome British classics, and we’re proud to offer creative workshops teaching skills from painting to jewellery making, offering new skills and bringing people together.

We are very easy to find, just outside Chester, Cheshire, on the A51 between Tarvin and Tarporley. To find out about our latest events and what’s on, it’s best to visit our instagram or facebook page, please follow the links below.
