Another day, another update!
We are getting in touch firstly to say thank you, we have been overwhelmed by your lovely messages of support, we’re so grateful to you all.
This morning we met as a team to discuss the best and safest way forward in the present circumstances.
After much deliberation and in line with government regulations, we have decided to keep all retail areas of our business open from tomorrow, Wednesday 6th January.
We have however decided to close our catering options, so sadly there will be no take away coffee & cake until further notice. We feel this is the safest option right now, it will help to limit the number of customers and time spent on the site at any time.
As always, the safety of our staff and customers is the most important thing to us, so we are busy today making sure all measures are in place for your return.
We will also be shortening our opening hours to 10am till 4pm each day until further notice. We’ll be reviewing this on a weekly basis and will let you know of any changes via email, Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you as always for your understanding and support in these confusing times!
With our best wishes
All workshops are currently postponed.
Please see our Workshops page for more information.
Opened in 1981, Okells began growing heather plants and selling to garden centres up and down the country. Over time, we have slowly expanded our offer to an ever changing array of plants, trees, seeds and tools for the aspiring gardener to accomplished grower.
Alongside our garden shop lies our home store, stocking a range of wares sourced locally and internationally. Our cafe has a hearty range of wholesome British classics, and we’re proud to offer creative workshops teaching skills from painting to jewellery making, offering new skills and bringing people together.
We are very easy to find, just outside Chester, Cheshire, on the A51 between Tarvin and Tarporley. To find out about our latest events and what’s on, it’s best to visit our instagram or facebook page, please follow the links below.
