Welcome Back to our Coffee Shop! ☕

We will be reopening our coffee shop doors on 4th July.

It’s been a long time and we’re really looking forward to welcoming you back to our Coffee Shop!

We’re taking all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe, so you’ll notice plenty of changes & lots more space as we are operating at ½ our previous capacity, but rest assured we’re still the same friendly team!

  • We won’t be taking bookings and you may need to queue for a short while at busy times, but we’ll seat you as quickly as we can!
  • Tables & chairs will all be sanitised between sittings and sanitising gel is available at various points across the site
  • Once seated, please decide what you’d like and send one of your group (with menu in hand) to the counter to place & pay for your order
  • Please pay by card, we are currently not accepting cash payments
  • We’ll deliver your food & drinks to the table along with cutlery, napkins & condiments
  • Please keep young family members with you at your table at all times
  • We don’t want to rush you but respectfully ask that once you have enjoyed your visit you vacate your table for the next customers
  • And finally, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly team if you have any questions or concerns

Thank you for your support and your patience as we navigate this new way of working!

With our very best wishes

The Okells Team

A sanctuary of horticulture, goods for the home & popular cafe, designed to bring people together

Opened in 1981, Okells began growing heather plants and selling to garden centres up and down the country. Over time, we have slowly expanded our offer to an ever changing array of plants, trees, seeds and tools for the aspiring gardener to accomplished grower.

Alongside our garden shop lies our home store, stocking a range of wares sourced locally and internationally. Our cafe has a hearty range of wholesome British classics, and we’re proud to offer creative workshops teaching skills from painting to jewellery making, offering new skills and bringing people together.

We are very easy to find, just outside Chester, Cheshire, on the A51 between Tarvin and Tarporley. To find out about our latest events and what’s on, it’s best to visit our instagram or facebook page, please follow the links below.
