New Coffee Shop Guidelines
(Updated 11th May 2021)

We are delighted to be able to welcome you back inside our coffee shop from Monday 17th May.

Following the latest guidelines, we are able to seat 6 people or 2 households inside (each household can include a support bubble, if eligible).

There will be no restrictions for seating outdoors.

We continue to be cautious, offering the same health and safety procedures allowing plenty of space for all, with hand sanitising stations throughout the garden centre.

Although we don’t take bookings you’ll find lots of tables and plenty of space (please come before 11.30 or after 2 if you wish to avoid the busier times!).

We will still be offering our takeaway service.

We look forward to seeing you very soon!

With our best wishes

The Okells Team

All workshops are currently postponed.
Please see our Workshops page for more information.

A sanctuary of horticulture, goods for the home & popular cafe, designed to bring people together

Opened in 1981, Okells began growing heather plants and selling to garden centres up and down the country. Over time, we have slowly expanded our offer to an ever changing array of plants, trees, seeds and tools for the aspiring gardener to accomplished grower.

Alongside our garden shop lies our home store, stocking a range of wares sourced locally and internationally. Our cafe has a hearty range of wholesome British classics, and we’re proud to offer creative workshops teaching skills from painting to jewellery making, offering new skills and bringing people together.

We are very easy to find, just outside Chester, Cheshire, on the A51 between Tarvin and Tarporley. To find out about our latest events and what’s on, it’s best to visit our instagram or facebook page, please follow the links below.
